About the sessions
The sessions take place in my art room in Thame, a home garden studio, which is a calm and quiet place to cut out some time for creativity. There is some parking available on the drive but I am also only a few minutes walk away from the town centre carparks. Unfortunately I do not have adequate wheelchair access but please do contact me if you feel there may be some way I can accommodate.
The time is yours to create as you wish, you may have ideas of your own which I am at hand to help with or I can set projects to teach particular skills. I will usually work on something of my own alongside you to remove that feeling of 'being watched'! I recommend 2 hour sessions for adults and older children to allow plenty of time to engage with your creativity.....and have a tea break. For younger children or those with shorter concentration spans, I can offer 1 hour sessions.
Prices
For two hours:
One to one clay session: £60
Group clay session: £30 per person
One to one ceramic glazing session plus firings: £65
Group ceramic glazing session plus firings: £35 per person
For 1 hour:
One to one clay session: £30
Group clay session: £15 per person
One to one ceramic glazing session plus firings: £35
Group ceramic glazing plus firings: £25 per person
These prices include the use of tools and materials. Depending on what you wish to make, some projects will require multiple sessions. A glazing session will usually take place several weeks after a clay session to allow time for the project to dry and time to build up items for firing - a fully loaded kiln is more economical.
